Game Instructions

Quick Start (2 min)

1 Everyone answers an estimation question (e.g. "How tall is the Eiffel Tower in metres?")
2 Then you bet poker chips on how confident you are. Fold (give up), Call (match) or Raise (increase).
3 After 4 betting rounds with hints revealed, the closest answer wins the pot!

You don't need to know poker – the app guides you through every step.

Game Objective

The goal is to correctly guess or know the answer and take all chips from your opponents through skillful bluffing. Even someone with complete cluelessness can win this game.

Game Equipment

For the game you need:

  • Quiz questions with two hints each (provided by the app)
  • Poker chips in various denominations
  • One notepad and pen per player
  • Small Blind, Big Blind, and Dealer buttons/markers

This equipment is only needed for singleplayer mode when playing with friends at the table. In multiplayer mode everything is digital – you only need your smartphone! Find matching recommendations on our accessories page.

Game Preparation

Each player receives a notepad, a pen, and an equal amount of chips. A random player receives the Dealer Button. The player to their left gets the Small Blind, the player to the left of the Small Blind gets the Big Blind. The Big Blind is twice the Small Blind. All buttons rotate left after each question.

Blinds

Small Blind and Big Blind are mandatory bets placed without knowing the question. The Big Blind is always twice the Small Blind. The blinds double every two rounds.

Gameplay

Each question is played with four betting rounds:

  • Betting Round 1: The blinds are placed. The question appears and all players enter their answer. Then betting begins: Fold (drop out), Call (match) or Raise (increase).
  • Betting Round 2: The first hint appears. Betting starts from Small Blind: Fold, Check (pass without betting) or Bet/Raise.
  • Betting Round 3: The second hint appears. Betting proceeds as in round 2.
  • The Finale: The solution is revealed. After a final betting round, the remaining players show their answers in the showdown. The player whose answer is closest to the solution wins the pot. Over- or underbidding doesn't matter, only the distance counts.

Betting Actions

  • Fold: You drop out and lose your current bet.
  • Raise: You increase the bet. Others must match or raise as well.
  • Check: You pass without betting. Only possible if no one has bet yet.
  • Bet: You make the first bet in a betting round (at least Big Blind).

Special Features

  • Split Pot: If there's an equal distance to the solution, the pot is split evenly.
  • All In: You bet all your chips. If others bet more, a Side Pot is created for the higher bets.
  • Side Pot: The All-In player can only win the main pot, the others continue playing for the Side Pot.

Game End

The game ends when only one player has chips left – they win! Bluffing, strategic thinking, and sometimes luck are the keys to victory.
