Quizpoker for Android Is Here: Get It on Google Play

A few days ago Quizpoker arrived on iPhone, now it is Android's turn: Quizpoker is now available on Google Play. Free to download, in English and German, no account needed. Your group can play with the app no matter which phone ends up in the middle of the table.

What the App Does

The Android app does the same as the iOS app: it is your question master. It asks the estimation question, gives two hints between the betting rounds and reveals the answer at the end. There is no betting inside the app. Chips, bets and bluffs stay with you at the table.

That means you only need one device for the whole group. No lobby, no invite code, no five phones on the same Wi-Fi. One phone lies in the middle, everyone looks at it, and when the number appears, everyone sees it at the same time.

Four Looks Inside the Android App

How a Question Works

Every question is played with four betting rounds:

1. Post the blinds. Small blind and big blind put in their forced bets, the app shows the question.
2. Guess and bet. Everyone writes their estimate face down on a slip of paper. Then you bet like in poker: fold, call, raise.
3. Hint 1 and hint 2. Both narrow the range, and each hint is followed by a betting round.
4. Reveal and showdown. The app reveals the number. Whoever is closest takes the pot, unless everyone else folded first.

So you do not need to know the answer. You only need to judge your own guess better than the others judge theirs. Our poker bluffing tips show how to play that at the table.

More Than 430 Questions in 18 Categories

The app ships with more than 430 reviewed estimation questions across 18 categories, from geography, sport and music to all the numbers nobody ever guesses right. You can pick categories up front and switch between English and German. The estimation questions page gives an overview, and you can submit your own questions.

What You Need for the Evening

• An Android phone with the app, lying in the middle of the table
• Poker chips or anything comparable: matches, gummy bears, small coins
• Paper and pens for the face-down guesses
• Two to eight people who do not trust each other

If you do not own a chip set yet, our accessories page has recommendations.

Access: Three Questions Free. Unlimited After That.

The app is free, and so are the first three questions. After that a pass unlocks everything else: the Evening Pass, three Evening Passes to redeem one at a time, or the Annual Pass. All durations and prices are on the pricing page.

No subscription, nothing renews automatically. And the Evening Pass only starts with the first revealed question. So you can buy it today and play on Saturday.

Bought is bought, no matter how you play: your access code moves a pass to another device, including from iPhone to Android or into the browser on quizpoker.app.

Quizpoker is not gambling, by the way. No money is wagered or won inside the app. You play with your own chips, like any other party game.

App or Browser?

• The app is for the evening at the table: one device in the middle, real chips, everyone together.
• Multiplayer in the browser is for groups without chips or in different places: everyone opens quizpoker.app on their own phone, and the site handles betting rounds, chips and the pot.
• Singleplayer in the browser matches the app, but runs on any device without installing anything.

A Good Match for Duell um die Geld

The new season of "Das Duell um die Geld" is on air right now. If you catch yourself guessing along while watching, put a phone in the middle of the table and play the show yourself the same evening. All guests of the season are in our post Duell um die Geld season 5: all guests, and more about the format is on the Duell um die Geld topic page.

In Short

Quizpoker now runs on iPhone, Android and in the browser. The app asks the question, gives two hints and reveals the number. The rest happens at your table.
